New rugs are prone to producing fluff. This is completely normal and only lasts a short period of time. Regular vacuuming will restore your rug to its original state. The high quality of the ‘Espirelle’ yarn means that most stains will come off with a little water.
With stubborn stains, we recommend you use our care product ‘James’ to remove marks of any kind.

We recommend that all rugs in this collection are cleaned at 30°C at a rug washing facility.

The Living Mats Collection

Easy-care is the distinguishing mark of Arte Espina, Living Mats. We recommend the following maintenance instructions to keep the Living Mat in top condition:

• Wash on gentle machine program at 40°C
• Mild detergent my be used with a reduced spin cycle of 600 tunes maximum
• Do not bleach or dry clean
• 60°C drying programme is suitable

After each wash the Living Mat pile surface becomes bulky and the vibrant colours come to life. Regular maintenance of the Arte Espina, Living Mat according to the recommended instructions ensures refreshing colours in the living space for many years to come.
